Tillman Fertitta bought land on the Las Vegas Strip in April. He also owns the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street. FERTITA plans to build a 43-story, 2,420-room hotel/casino on 6 acres. Another potential Caesars and MGM rival has quietly bought the land required to built a new casino. It's taking a more stealthy approach than the previous two.

MGM has sold a piece of land on the Las Vegas Strip to the Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota. The land was used as a concert ground and it was the site of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. MGM has already donated two acres of property at the land to Clark County to be used for a memorial.

The Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota bought a vacant 8.7-acre parcel of land in July 2021. The group plans to build a resort/casino on the land. MGM had planned to use the Village site as a parking lot for Las Vegas Raiders games. The Three affiliations operate 4 Bears Casino & Lodge on Fort Berthold Reservation land since 1993.
