Arkansas judge voids casino license granted to Cherokee Nation Businesses. The company will appeal the decision. Gulfside Casino Partnership had appealed the November 2021 decision to grant the Pope County license to the Cherokee Business. The casino proposal was estimated to cost $225 million. It would include 50,000 square feet of gaming space accommodating 1, 200 rooms, a resort-style pool, spa and fitness center, 15,00 square ft of mixed-use conference and entertainment space, and outdoor water park and music venue. Cherokee businesses filed a notice of appeal with the state Supreme Court on Friday afternoon.

Arkansas officials "unconstitutionally" granted a casino license to Cherokee Nation Businesses. Pulaski County Circuit Court Judge Tim Fox ruled that the Arkansas Racing Commission acted outside its authority. The Cherokee Business will appeal the ruling. Gulfside Casino Partnership had appealed a November 2021 decision to grant the Pope County license. Cherokee business proposed a $225 million casino with 50,000 square feet of gaming space, 1,200 slot machines and 32 table games, a sportsbook, luxury hotel with 200 rooms, resort-style pool, spa and fitness center, and outdoor water park and music venue.

New Year's Eve room rates in Las Vegas are three times higher than Christmas weekend. Room rates for a Friday through Sunday stay for Christmas and New Year’s weekend are $127.73 and $371.14 per night respectively. Las Las. In March, $901.3 million in slot machines statewide was an all-time record.

Clark County casinos won $1.178 billion from players in March. Downtown Las Vegas properties won 22.6 percent more than last year. Nevada casinos statewide won more $903 million from slot machines in the same month. The March total was the second-highest monthly total in history. The state received $97. 6 million in gaming win from casinos for March, a 0.9 percent increase over the previous year's total. Tax collections are up 30 percent to $808. 9 million for the first 10 months of the 2021-22 fiscal year, which is important for Nevada.

Azilo Ultra Lounge at the Sahara Las Vegas was completed in late September. It offers unique musical programming, a fun specialty cocktail menu and outdoor activities. The next big event is the indoor-outdoor Super Bowl party in February.   “It’s a steady and consistent plan to build inside the lounge and outside at Azilo”, says Steve Sagan, general manager of daylife and nightlife. He adds that the resort is not jumping off the deep end. “That way we can sustain whether it's recession time or everyone is coming to town and spending thousands of dollars .

Ocean Casino in Atlantic City is planning to build a new sports bar and lounge during March Madness. The new venue is budgeted at $4 million and is scheduled to open sometime this summer. Vic Salerno and USBookmaking will provide the lines. The casino hopes to have obtained regulatory approval by that point.

NYC residents will be able to bet on sports online by the time of the Super Bowl in 2022. New York is under pressure to legalize online gambling as soon as possible.
