THE hunt is on for Ireland’s newest millionaire after someone scooped the €11 million jackpot in tonight’s draw.

The winning numbers were: 18, 29, 36, 38, 40, 43 with a bonus number of 30.

The National Lottery last night confirmed that someone has won the €11,106,438 jackpot prize.

This is the first time someone has won the top prize since October.

The lucky winner now has three months to claim the prize with lotto officials keen for the winner to get in touch.

The Lotto Plus 1 winning numbers were: 2, 4, 8, 31, 39, 43 and a bonus number of 9.

The Lotto Plus 2 prize winning numbers were: 8, 10, 17, 21, 25, 27 and 22.

Meanwhile, exact location that sold a €1million winning Lotto ticket in Saturday night's Millionare Raffle draw has been revealed.

One punter who shopped at Mahon Point Tesco in Cork City has a lot to be thankful for after landing the top prize in the New Years draw.

The National Lottery’s Jim O’Connor marked the occasion with Tesco store manager Aaron Steenson after his Mahon Point outlet sold the winning ticket.

Staff across the shop joined in on the fun as Lotto chiefs popped open the champagne in celebration.

However, the lucky winner of the ticket has yet to be revealed.

Players in Co Cork have been urged to check their tickets carefully as they could be in possession of the life-changing stub.

Five other players, one in Carlow, three in Dublin and another in Kilkenny are also celebrating today after winning a mouthwatering €100,000 in the same draw.

The three €100k Dublin tickets were sold in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Dublin, XL Dundrum, Dublin 14, Dunnes Stores, The Square, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

The single Carlow ticket was sold in Raths Supermarket on Pollerton Road.

The lucky player in Co Kilkenny purchased their ticket online.

With over 6,000 players winning prizes of between €500 and €1 million in last night’s draw, the National Lottery is urging ticket holders to check their raffle numbers to see if they have kicked 2023 off with a win.
