ONE lucky Irish Lotto player has scooped €1million in tonight's Lotto Plus 1 draw.

The numbers pulled in the Lotto Plus 1 draw were 5, 21, 25, 33, 41, 42 and the bonus 6.

In the main Lotto jackpot draw worth €4.9million, the digits were 4, 7, 17, 24, 29, 42 and the bonus 15.

In the Lotto Plus 2 draw, the numbers were 11, 18, 26, 27, 31, 44 and the bonus number 8.

There were no winners of the main jackpot or Plus 2 prizes.

In the Lotto Plus raffle the number was 6586 and there were 96 winners of €500.

Meanwhile, the National Lottery has apologised after a technical difficulty saw customers missing out on a chance to win big.

There has been "a small number of cases" where numbers which are
manually selected have not been included on a ticket when selected
together with Quick Pick numbers.

The manual selection may not have been entered into the relevant draw - meaning customers may not have received their chosen numbers on their tickets.

The issue affects players in shops when using payslips to purchase Lotto, EuroMillions and Daily Million tickets with a combination of Quick Pick and Manual panels.

The issue has not affected players who selected their numbers online.

Customers have not been charged for the lines which were affected by this difficulty - but it may mean you could miss out on the winning numbers.

"In a small number of such cases the manual selection may not have been entered into the relevant draw and customers have
not been charged for that line.

"This issue may affect customers using payslips to purchase Mixed Play tickets in shops only. This does not affect online play.

"We remind all players to always check their tickets to ensure that it is correct at the time of purchase. Our technical teams continue to work to identity and rectify the issue.

"Players should ask shop staff if they have encountered any difficulty."
