Dublin has a new millionaire after one player won the top prize of €1 million on the Lotto Plus 1 draw.
The winner scooped the top prize after buying a ticket online at lottery.ie.
The jackpot has yet to be claimed and lottery officials are urging the winner to come forward and make contact with the prize team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.
The winning numbers in last night’s (Wednesday 26th January) Lotto Plus 1 draw were: 03, 14, 16, 27, 36, 41 and the bonus was 42.
Wednesday's Lotto draw saw over 77,000 players take part in the Lotto and Lotto plus games.
No player won the jackpot of €2,881,681 so that will be carried over into the next draw on Saturday where the jackpot will be an estimated €3.5 million.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language.
In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for good causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago.
In 2021 alone, €289 million was raised for local good causes in communities across Ireland.
