Lotto Max Winner For The $70M June 22 Draw Is Shared Between 2 Tickets

There's finally a Lotto Max winner of the $70 million grand prize jackpot, ending the streak of recording-breaking prize jackpots.
The $70 million was won by two tickets sold in Ontario and B.C., which means those lucky people will each get $35 million. The winning numbers are 07, 11, 22, 28, 33, 44, 49 and Bonus 10.
Also, 30 Maxmillions worth $1 million each were won by tickets in B.C., the Prairies, Ontario and Quebec. If you played this lottery in any of those provinces, check your tickets!
Before this, the $70 million prize had been won six times after it was introduced back in 2019. In the past, winners have only been from Ontario and Quebec, so the person who won the winning ticket in B.C. for this draw just made history!
Now that the big jackpot was won, the total prize offerings have gone down to $52 million with a grand prize jackpot of $50 million and two Maxmillions.
Where in Canada were the Maxmillions won?
For the June 22 draw, 30 of the 70 Maxmillions that were offered were won or shared by 46 tickets sold across Canada.
According to Loto-Québec, there are 11 winning tickets in B.C., four in the Prairies, 21 in Ontario and 10 in Quebec.
For Ontario, Narcity has learned that nine tickets that were sold in Kingston, Windsor, Thunder Bay, St. Catharines, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Toronto and North York are winners of $1 million each.
Six Maxmillions will be shared by someone in Ontario and someone else in Canada who bought the winning ticket, including ones sold online and in Grey County, Simcoe Country, Mississauga, Windsor and Milton. That means those people will get $500,000.
Five winning tickets in the province will also each share the prize with two other winning tickets sold in other parts of the country, which means people will get $333,333. Those tickets were sold in Burlington, Kitchener, Sault Ste. Marie, Milton and Scarborough.
One Maxmillions prize will be shared by someone in Mississauga and three other ticket holders. The winners of that will get $250,000 each.
