Live Dealer Games Launch in Saskatchewan, Online Poker Coming Soon

Live dealer games are now available to online casino players in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, and online poker is expected later this year, PRO can confirm.
Tribal gaming officials announced Thursday that it would launch live dealer casino games through the British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s (BCLC) PlayNow platform — which includes online casino games and a sportsbook.
“We are pleased to be able to offer this Live Casino option online to complement our existing casino properties for Saskatchewan residents’ enjoyment,” said Zane Hansen, president and CEO of the non-profit Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA).
SIGA said PlayNow in Saskatchewan would offer a unique suite of live casino games from the portfolio of Evolution Gaming.
“A live table game offers the chance for players to sit in their own homes while playing their favorite casino games,” SIGA said. “The experience is wholly immersive and players experience and are able to interact with real-time human dealers, creating an individualized online casino experience.”
The tribal operator added that PlayNow players in Saskatchewan will have access to 17 table games through PlayNow’s Live Casino — including Auto Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Baccarat eSqueeze, Dream Wheeler, Infinite Blackjack, Lightning Auto Roulette, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.
