Macau-exposed casino stocks gained early Thursday after Las Vegas Sandssignaled that a “robust recovery” in travel and tourism spending was under way in the region.

The casino operator’s earnings and revenue beat expectations in the first quarter, while management flagged positive trends in Macau as well as Singapore. The stock (ticker: LVS) pointed more than 5% higher to $62.50 ahead of open, while Melco Resorts & Entertainment(MLCO) jumped 4%, Wynn Resorts(WYNN) rose 3%, and MGM Resorts(MGM) was around 1% up.
