PROFIT or ROI?  (Return on Investment)  It is common to see people claim their profit amount is ROI, they don't even understand ROI

My MMA Avg bet size has been 0.78% in 2022, Avg +152 on 201 wagers. I bet 25% of what others do, but my profit is always near the top. How is that?

Which sounds better to you?

Fred Bets 300 plays, avg bet $100 (30k risk) Profit $1000,

Barney Bets 100 Plays  avg bet $100 (10k risk) Profit $800

$1000 sounds better than $800, no?  How about risking THREE TIMES as much money to do it?

Ask yourself what you really know when someone shares their W/L record? Do you know how many of those were -200 or -300 wagers? When someone tells you that they profited, do they tell you the required investment amount? It is important to pay close attention to ROI because it tells you what you need to know, “Was the investment worth the risk?” Units won or lost, profit, win percentage, are all terms that can bamboozle the uninformed. ROI? It's actually quite simple.. “How much did you have to risk, and how much was returned to you?”

So, Fred made $1000 and his ROI is 3.33% Barney only made $800 but his ROI is 8%

Bankroll Management; Pro's don't wager 4-5% of their bankroll on games.  I suggest a 1.5-2.5% wager ceiling to your actual bankroll, regardless of release rating. The 4-5% releases are sales tools and ratings, scale your wager amount accordingly. Bet size should increase or decrease as your bankroll changes.

While others may throw 4% or 5% plays around like a frisbee, mine are manhole covers. Just because I may release lower percentage plays, that's responsible bankroll management. It's about ROI.  I'm a bettor, not a salesman pushing people to follow.

Don't rely on daily packages. I suggest subscriptions to receive plays upon release. You don't have to follow my bets, but be responsible with your investments. Getting the Gameday lines will have the lowest value to the buyer. The market adjusted, the value is too often gone. Daily sports are an exception, but those lines move quickly and it's imperative to receive bets in a timely fashion. MY JOB IS TO GET THE BEST OF THE NUMBER, as often as possible.

Following anyone else's selections is a BUYER CHOICE. I guarantee I'm betting all my plays, and I'm either winning or losing with all followers.
