New Orleans in West Virginia? That’s what the folks at the Mardi Gras Casino & Resort in Cross Lanes are hoping to create. And the look does indeed resemble that of the Big Easy in the casino as well as the hotel.
About 90,000 square feet is devoted to the gaming area with over 1,200 slot machines and 31 table games including those devoted to blackjack, roulette, craps, Big Six, three-card poker, four-card poker, and Let It Ride. Blackjack may be played for as little as $3 per hand, Mondays through Fridays from 11am to 4pm.
The Mardi Gras casino also includes the 24-table Big Easy Poker Room with games and tournaments in Texas Hold ‘em, Omaha Hi-Lo and Seven-Card Stud.
