If you happened to purchase a Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 ticket in Lackawanna County for the Sunday drawing, check those numbers: someone in the area may be $1.24 million richer.

According to a release from the Pennsylvania Lottery, a ticket sold at Tobacco King, located on Northern Boulevard in South Abington Township, matched all six winning numbers (1-7-23-30-33-42) in Sunday's Match 6 drawing, netting the winner $1.24 million, minus applicable withholdings.

Tobacco King also received a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

More than 37,900 other Match 6 Lotto tickets also won prizes in the drawing.

For Match 6, players 18 and older pay $2 and choose six numbers from 1 to 49, or have the computer randomly select those numbers for them. The computer then randomly selects an additional two sets of six numbers, for three lines of six numbers each, or 18 numbers total. Players can win up to four times on each ticket— once on each of the three lines for base pay, and by combining all 18 numbers for combine play. Match 6 Lotto is drawn every evening, and players can purchase up to 26 draws in advance.

The chances of matching all six numbers for the Match 6 jackpot are 1 in 4,661,272, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The identities of lottery winners are unknown until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

Winning tickets purchased at a physical retailer should immediately be signed on the back, while online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.

Players can initiate an online prize claim by calling 1-800-692-7481, and they can find additional information about making a claim by visiting the Pennsylvania Lottery website.
