The leading lottery app, Jackpocket, announced its entry into a new jurisdiction. The first licensed third-party lottery app in the US revealed it debuted in the regulated market of Montana.

The recent launch marks the 12th US state where Jackpot is available. Previously, the app entered other major markets such as New Jersey, Colorado, New York and Arkansas. The app is also available in Oregon, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Texas, Washington D.C., Ohio and Minnesota. Since its launch, Jackpocket has awarded $150 million in lottery prizes. Moreover, 14 different players have won prizes worth $1 million or more by using the Jackpocket app.

In a statement released on July 5, 2022, Jackpocket's CEO and Founder, Peter Sullivan, said: "Accessibility and convenience are of the utmost importance right now, which is why we're looking forward to offering Montanans, both long-time lottery players and new players alike, a digital-forward way of streamlining their day."

He also explained that safety and innovation are key goals for Jackpocket. In conclusion, Sullivan said that while Jackpocket continues to grow within the online gambling industry, it will continue to provide entertaining, yet safe services for its customers.

Thanks to the recent launch, residents of the Big Sky Country can now place ticket orders for popular lottery games such as Lotto America, Lucky for Life, Powerball, Mega Millions, Big Sky Bonus and Montana Cash via Jackpocket's mobile app.

The application is easy to use, but it is also secure and enables the players to place ticket orders. The image of the ticket can be viewed and players can also check their results or even receive prizes up to $599 via the application. On the other hand, for prizes higher than $599, the players would need to redeem their winning ticket at the Montana Lottery.

Celebrating its entry into Montana, Jackpocket announced a special promotion. By using the code BIGSKY at checkout, first-time Jackpocket app players can receive a free lottery ticket. What's more, Jackpocket revealed that it anticipates good acceptance of its app, considering that more than 65% of the users are between 18 and 45 years old.

Besides offering players an easy and convenient way to order lottery tickets, Jackpocket's entry in Montana will help increase the state revenue.

It was back in 1987 when the Montana Lottery started to operate. To date, the Lottery has contributed with than $302 million to Montana's General Fund. Thanks to the fund, important public education, scholarship, safety and health programs continue to receive funding.
