Indiana's gambling taxes brought in more than $1 billion during the 2022 state budget year. This is an increase of 8% over the $958.3 million received during 2021 fiscal year and a 19% increase from the previous year's $2.5 billion. Land-based casinos, particularly the Hard Rock Northern Indiana site in Gary, helped to propel growth.
