IGT To Boost Online Slots Catalog With $174 Million iSoftBet Acquisition

International Game Technology is a multi-million dollar company. It is responding to a Rhode Island court about the US Department of Justice's 2018 anti-iGaming interpretation of the Wire Act. On April 11, IGT announced it was acquiring London-headquartered iGaming content provider iSoftBet for €160 million in cash.
IGT PlayDigital will provide best-in-class games and technology to its iGaming customers.
IGT and iSoftBet have agreed to buy 225 proprietary games. IGT's US online casino games are available to online gamblers in five states.
GT is buying iSoftBet's 125 proprietary games and 4,600 third-party games. The deal is slated to be finalized in Q2 2022.
