Final preparations are being put in place for Chase County Hospital Foundation’s 2nd annual Casino Night fundraiser on Saturday night.
Coordinators are planning for up to 200 people for the event at the Nutrien Event Center on the Chase County Fairgrounds.
Casino Party USA is returning with a team of professional dealers from Denver after a successful 2022 Casino Night, said Shawn Jaeger, the hospital’s Foundation and Marketing Coordinator.
Jaeger said a lot of excitement is resonating about Casino Night after “a great response last year.”
They’ve secured 26 table sponsors, and will have numerous silent auction items on the block, along with the games.
Doors open Saturday at 6:30  p.m., when Grub’N 308 will begin serving a nacho bar and sandwiches. Food will be served until 8:30 p.m.
The casino games will start at 7:30 p.m., running until 10:30 p.m. Wine, beer and spirits will be available at the cash bar provided by The Beverage Barn and Broken Arrow Cellars.
There will be eight gaming tables including one for craps, one for roulette, five for blackjack and a Texas Hold’em Poker table, Jaeger said.
Music, the food and $200 in casino chips comes with each ticket purchase. Additional chips can also be purchased during the evening, he said.
After the casino games conclude, attendees will be able to “cash in” their chips in exchange for tickets that will be entered in a drawing for $2,000 in Chamber Bucks ranging in increments of $50 to $500.

A silent auction will also be conducted during the evening with items donated or sponsored, Jaeger noted.
Among the items already secured for the auction are a Blackstone griddle, Pit Boss tabletop griddle, Yukon fire pit, 3-burner gas grill, gift baskets and numerous gift cards at Imperial and Wauneta businesses. Jaeger said he had a number of other items he’s picking up this week.
Tickets for the event at $50 each can be up until the event Saturday, Jaeger said.
The Casino Night is one of the two big fundraisers the Foundation plans each year, Jaeger added, both to support Chase County Community Hospital.
The other is the summer Slice Fore Life golf tournament on the last Saturday in June. This year’s tournament will be June 24.
