Outside of work, Gold hones working out, gardening, reading and hiking. and he enjoys working with local community organizations. in Cincinnati. he also assisted in opening Bellagio Las Vegas and was General manager of Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica, MS.

Hard Rock International has completed its acquisition of The Mirage Hotel & Casino from MGM Resorts International. HRI paid $1.075 billion in cash for the operating assets of the resort. The resort will continue to operate as The. Mirage until the renovation and rebranding of it to the Hard Rock Hotel. Las Vegas is set to change the skyline with the addition of a Guitar-shaped hotel tower adjacent to Las. Vegas Blvd.

The brand will enter into a long-term lease agreement with VICI Properties for TheMirage's real estate property. Hard Rock owns a valuable collection of authentic music memorabilia of more than 86,000 pieces. Hard Rancher has a guitar-shaped hotel in Florida.

Hard Rock International announced construction plans are underway for its temporary casino in Bristol, Virginia. The temporary full-service casino boasts approximately 30,000 square feet of casino space, featuring approximately 900 gaming slots and 20 tables. It will also include a new restaurant, grab and go food outlet, sports bar and lounge with entertainment, and Virginia lottery offices. Construction begins soon at the Women's Belk store in the former Bristol Mall. Temporary casino is slated to open before the end of the second quarter of 2022.

West Flagler Associates, affiliated with Magic City Casino, has seeded another new committee with $15 million for unknown purposes.

The new Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana celebrated its grand opening with a legendary Guitar Smash on Friday morning. The $300 million casino and entertainment destination officially opened to the public on May 14 at 5 p.m. It includes a 200,000-square foot entertainment complex, a 150,00- square foot gaming floor, five food venues, an on-site sportsbook, and a 1,954-seat HardRock Live performance venue. There are more than 170 pieces of music memorabilia on display inside the Hardrock Casino. The collection totals over 30 pieces.
