Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI) has rolled out the latest version of its platform, bringing the upgrade to its entire customer base, including Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana.

The software update, known as Version 3.4, was released via an auto-deployment process, which QCI claims was “non-disruptive” and preserved each site’s “custom configured solution.”

Confirmation of a successful upgrade came from Hard Rock, whose casino in Gary, Indiana said the software update had taken place without any problems.

Beth Sliwa, Director of Player Development at Hard Rock Northern Indiana, echoed this confirmation, and went on to express her satisfaction with QCI and its platform.

“Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana had a successful upgrade to Version 3.4,” she said. “The QCI team continues to enhance their product based on the feedback from clients.  I’ve never worked with a program that is so user friendly.”

This deployment covered over 100,000 gaming machines including 50 casino resorts in North America. Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana added QCI’s slots platform in February.

“This is a big day for QCI,” said Dr Ralph Thomas, CEO of QCI, adding: “The customer-driven upgrades in the 3.4 release provide features and functionality that enhance the user experience, while delivering real value in this turbulent time.

Thomas concluded: “This ability to execute is a key technology focus as it allows us to provide continual platform enhancements while maintaining the customisations at each site.

“We are especially proud that our automated upgrade process allows us to avoid costly data sewerage work that often plagues data-centric projects.”
