Greece Raises the Wager Cap for Online Gambling

The Greek government voted to raise the €2 ($2.14) cap on online wagers. Maximum slots Jackpot values have been increased.
The Ministry of Finance eased some regulations regarding the Greek gambling market. The maximum wager limit for online poker and table games has been increased to €20. Jackpots for casino games and slots can be up to $150,000. Slots can reduce spin times from 3 to 2 seconds.
The Finance Ministry has lifted the €2 cap on Greek gambling. The deadline for operators to join the centralized monitoring system has been extended to December 2022. Greece has a cautious approach to gambling regulation. In January, the Hellenic Gaming Commission allowed PokerStars to launch several brands in the country. It also introduced a new anonymous tip line where people can report illegal gambling sites and unauthorized advertisements.
