Global Gaming Expo G2E gathering this week in Las Vegas to see new slot machines

The Global Gaming Expo is taking place this week at The Venetian Expo. It's the largest gaming trade show in the world. The show is being held in a smaller format this year because of the virus pandemic. Participants are excited about the event. Mike Gatten, senior vice president of slot strategy for MGM Resorts International, is looking for new gaming devices. He likes the fact that he can compare and buy them. He also likes that the show offers him the chance to see products from smaller companies. They are not headquartered in Southern Nevada. G2E is the granddaddy of gaming shows.
G2E is a gaming industry shopping mall and gathering place for professionals. There will be a panel on how casino companies can prioritize diversity on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday, Contessa Brewer will moderate a session with CEOs from three companies on several industry topics. Vanna White will conduct a charity celebrity slot tournament. The theme of G2e is "It's Game Time" and the show is mainly about the display of new slots, table games and other devices. iGT’s chief operating officer for gaming is expecting its Diamond RS cabinet to be the talk of the event.
