GGPoker Tweaks New Bounty Jackpot's Fee & Payout Structure

GGPoker has quietly changed how they collect the fees on its newly launched Bounty Jackpot feature in PKO tournaments.

In the previous system, the jackpot pool accumulated by deducting a set fee each time a player won a bounty. This fee was a set amount each time, regardless of the size of the bounty, and was determined by the tournament’s buy-in.

The operator has changed the method of growing the jackpot pool, and now the fee is only charged when entering the tournament, instead of deducting a fee each time a player wins a bounty.

Besides the tweaks to the fee structure, GGPoker has also changed the probabilities and the payouts, making the Bounty Jackpot prizes bottom-heavy and thus reducing variance. The operator has also lowered the frequency of the jackpots significantly.
