Gateway Casinos & Entertainment has appointed Queenie Wong as its new Chief Financial Officer. Queeni Wong will start from January 1, 2022. Gateway Casino & entertainment is one of the leaders of Canadian gaming industry. It has 26 land-based casino properties across Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta.
Ms. Wong has been working at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment since 2011. She has worked in several finance positions, including as the company's Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance. Before arriving at the gaming conglomerate, Ms. Won worked at PwC. Ms Wong will be reporting directly to Tony Santo. Her appointment is now subject to regulatory approvals from the game company.
Gateway Casinos & Entertainment had to close down all of its Ontario gaming properties as the province entered Stage Two of the Reopening Plan. Casino Rama will be suspended from January 5, 2022, to at least January 26, 2021.
Gateway Casinos Welcomes its new CFO. The gaming conglomerate is also set to build a CA$60 million casino property in Greater Sudbury’s Kingsway Entertainment District. However, the whole project is facing a legal challenge from the non-profit Minnow Lake Restoration Group.
