In Caribbean Draw Poker, the player faces off against the dealer, with the aim being to get a better five-card poker hand. Before the deal, player chooses the wager and may also make a "side bet" which opens the opportunity to win the progressive jackpot with a top-ranking hand.
The player receives five cards face up while the dealer is dealt one card face up and four others face down. After seeing the dealer's face-up card, player can choose to FOLD or BET; with the former, both hands are folded and the player loses the original wager. In the latter, the original bet is doubled and player is given a chance to beat the dealer's hand.
