First Steps Into Online Blackjack
The fundamental rule of Blackjack is that it is about beating the dealer. You do not play against the other users at the table.
The main objective of the game is to beat the dealer’s hand. The best online blackjack hand has a value of 21. Going over that number means you busted.
The dealer deals cards to each player and himself. The player can stand or ask for a card, but he loses if he goes over 21. Blackjack is a game where the player who scores higher than the bank without exceeding 21 and gets a blackjack wins. The rules vary according to the table and each online casino.
The aces can be worth 1 or 11, the 10 and the face cards (King, Queen & Jack) have the value of 10. The cards that go from 2 to 9 have their numerical value.
Strong hands use an ace with the value of 1 are considered to be stronger. Soft hands that use a 1-11 ace are called soft hands.
After receiving his initial two cards, a player has the option to "Hit" (draw an additional card) or "Stand" and is out of the game.
Double down is a strategy to maximize your bet and win the hand. Every casino has rules for this play. The dealer can easily bust or keep a total hand value of 17.
First Steps into Online Blackjack are to split the cards and place additional bets. If the second card served on each play is equal to the first, you can re-split that play by placing another additional bet.
The player can surrender if his first two cards won't beat the dealer.
When the dealer's face-up card is an ace, you can protect yourself from Blackjack by making a safety fund with half the amount of your bet. If the Dealer gets Black Jack, he pays the player twice the insurance bet, as explained below.
