One lucky ticket has bagged tonight's record EuroMillions jackpot and the holder will receive a whopping €200million (£175million).

If the ticket, which was bought in France, is held by a single player, then they have now become the biggest winner in the history of the pan-European lottery.

The winner is now instantly richer than Adele (£150m), Sir Tom Jones (£170m), golfer Rory McIlroy (£170m) and all four of Little Mix combined (£48m).

The jackpot in next Tuesday's EuroMillions will now be £15million.

They were 6, 9, 13, 24, 41  and the Lucky Stars were  3  and  12.

They had a one in 140 million chance of hitting the jackpot.

This is not just a French lotto record win, but is the biggest in the history of EuroMillions, which began in 2004.

The previous biggest win was €190m, which has twice been won in the UK, once in Spain and once in Portugal.

The biggest French win was in 2012, when someone won €170m.

There's lots of good news for Brits in tonight's draw though, too, as it appears five millionaires have been made in the main EuroMillions draw - and the UK Thunderball first prize was also scooped.

Camelot revealed that of the 12 EuroMillions tickets which bagged second prize - by matching all five main numbers and one of the two Lucky Stars - the prize per UK winning ticket tonight was £1,886,380.

And with Lottery.co.uk stating that, of the 12 tickets which bagged second prize, five were bought in the UK, the suggestion is that five UK ticket holders have bagged £1.8million each tonight - a total of £9,431,900.

Meanwhile, a Brit has won tonight's UK Thunderball draw, taking home a not-to-be-sniffed-at £500,000.

The biggest-ever UK winner scooped £170.2m in October 2019 and stayed anonymous.

The previous biggest winners were Colin and Chris Weir, of Largs in North Ayrshire, who won £161m in July 2011.

Camelot’s winners’ adviser Andy Carter said: “The current jackpot is mind-blowing.

“The best advice I can give to people who have won a life-changing amount is to take their time. Don’t rush into buying anything extravagant or giving it away."

Samantha Morton, 36, was furloughed in March, from her job as a warehouse and logistics manager in Dorset and during this time she moved to Essex to live with her boyfriend, Barry Lingard, 26.

She was later made redundant over the summer and found a new job as a warehouse operator.

But then things took a turn when she realised she'd won £242,775.50 in the EuroMillions draw on November 27, with an online Lucky Dip.

She admits she was in a "bit of a daze" after discovering she had won.
