HENDERSON – Emerald Island Casino in downtown Henderson is proud to unveil a new program set to modernize their guests’ gaming experience this weekend. Emerald Express Cash is the first marker technology available at a Henderson casino, and only the second in the entire state of Nevada.
The program was created in partnership with Marker Trax and can be accessed through an app called Emerald Express Cash, which is available for download by Android and iPhone users. Guests can sign up with their Emerald Island Rewards card then link their bank account, and after a soft inquiry, they are told if they’re approved and offered a line of credit. If qualified for the program, the maximum charge is of 1%, which is cheaper than a traditional ATM fee.
The marker is linked to the guest’s player card, which downloads funds into a slot machine as soon as they enter it. After a guest is done playing that machine, their gambling earnings go directly into their Emerald Express Cash fund, so there’s no need to carry around cash.
