Detroit's casinos report $110.4M revenue for Sept., still below prepandemic figures

Detroit's casinos have brought in $110.4 million in September. Table games and slots generated $106.9 million, down 4.7% from August. Sports betting brought $3.5 million. MGM Grand Detroit had 45% of the market share, MotorCity Casino Hotel had 34%, and Greektown Casino had 21%. Collectively, the casinos paid $8. 7 million to the state.

Retail sports betting qualified adjusted gross receipts (QAGR) rose 109.8% compared with August 2021. September QAGRs by casino were:GM, $1,341,262, MotorCity, $6,693,261, Greektown, and $3,459,841. The casinos reported a total handle of $32,528,487 and total gross revenues of
