Colorado casinos no longer need to adhere to the existing $100 betting cap. They can offer new types of games starting May 1. The new variants mainly cover different types the poker and blackjack. Baccarat, Five Treasures, Big Six Wheel, pai gow tiles, and keno are among the newly permissible game types.

The $100 max bet is no longer in place in Colorado. The state has been seeing increasing levels of investment in casinos. Some casinos are struggling to find new table game staff. New gambling facilities will have to install new software before the higher betting limits can be implemented. The Colorado Division of Gaming will need to approve these changes.

Colorado Casinos to Increase Betting Limits Starting May 1. Amendment 77 allows the state's casino towns of Cripple Creek, Central City, and Black Hawk to change betting limits. The respective city councils supported this stance. In December, the Central and the Blackhawk city council voted to remove the old limits and in January, Cipple creek voted in favor of the same.

Colorado casinos will increase betting limits starting May 1. The gambling sector is recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. In March, the state's casinos had their strongest month in some time with revenue totaling $75.7m.
