A Coffs Harbour woman standing in the middle of the supermarket freezer aisle deciding what to cook has quickly ditched her dinner plans after receiving a phone call from lottery officials revealing her $100,000 win.

The North Coast resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10735, drawn Tuesday 29 November 2022.

“Wow! Is this true?!” she exclaimed when an official from The Lott first made contact with the New South Wales woman.

“We’ve had such a s*** year, so this is really life-changing!

“I’m standing in the middle of a Woolworths aisle deciding what to buy for dinner!

“But instead, I’m going to go pay for my groceries and rush home!

“I’ve already sent a screenshot of the win from The Lott app to my husband.

“We’re over the moon!”

With $100,000 landing in her bank account before Christmas, the cheerful woman shared it was a welcome boost to her festive plans.

“I haven’t really had much time to think about what we will do with the prize, but I know it will come in handy for Christmas,” she said.

“We will definitely celebrate tonight!”

Her winning entry of one random number was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.72 million for draw 1600, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.80 million for draw 10736.

In FY22, 169 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
