Catawba Indian Nation is One Step Closer to Two Kings Casino Resort

Catawba Indian Nation reached an agreement with the state of North Carolina to proceed with establishing a Las Vegas style casino in Kings Mountain. The facility is expected to be 35 minutes away from Charlotte. It is not known when the opening date will be, but it is supposed to open this fall.
The Catawba Indian Nation and the North Carolina government have reached an agreement on the future casino facility. The project will cost $273 million and will represent a 195,000-square-foot mixed use development with over 75,00 square feet of gaming space. It will have 1,796 slots, 54 table games, and a player’s club. Last week, Live! Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia opened for exclusive club members only and is scheduled to open for the public on February 11.
