Hamilton Princess Hotel and Beach Club in Bermuda wants to open a casino. The hotel is operated by Canadian hotelier Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. It is situated on a 15-acre plot of beachfront land 25 minutes from the LF Wade International Airport.
Hamilton Princess Hotel and Beach Club's subordinate has the intention of applying for a casino license. The St Regis Bermuda Resort made a similar move last year.
The Hamilton Princess Hotel and Beach Club entered the third and final stage of the casino licensing process. The due diligence phase could be completed by the end of this year.
Century Casinos Incorporated has entered into a management agreement with Hamilton Properties Limited, which owns the Hamilton Princess Hotel and Beach Club. The agreement includes a long-term management of the casino and a $5 million loan for casino equipment. The company applied for a casino license five years ago.
