A Medicine Hat man struck it rich at the Living Sky Casino in Swift Current.

SIGA announced Wednesday that J.G. Lundy won the Smoke Signals jackpot Thursday evening. He collected his $1,446,001.42 on Wednesday afternoon.

“It is always great to see a Smoke Signals win in southern Saskatchewan,” SIGA regional general manager Trevor Marion said in a release. “We are excited for J.G. Lundy to be taking home his cheque today of over $1.4 million!”

Smoke Signals is a SIGA-wide progressive jackpot that links 51 slot machines at seven casinos – the Living Sky Casino, the Bear Claw Casino and Hotel near Carlyle, the Dakota Dunes Casino near Saskatoon, the Gold Eagle Casino in North Battleford, the Gold Horse Casino in Lloydminster, the Northern Lights Casino in Prince Albert, and the Painted Hand Casino in Yorkton.

The largest of SIGA’s three mystery jackpot tiers has a minimum value of $1 million and pays out before it reaches $2 million.

To date, the Smoke Signals progressive has paid out $58,421,776.28 in jackpot wins. It now has been reset to $1 million.
