Caesars, Palms Try Something Very Different Off the Las Vegas Strip

The Las Vegas Strip hosts residencies of many of the biggest stars of today and nostalgia market stars. Sin City also has hologram-based shows in memory of Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. There are also a lot of DJ and electronic music figures working regularly both at night and day clubs along the Strip.
Rio and Palms are off the Las Vegas Strip. They are trying to attract customers by offering unique things to lure them in. Palm has its Pearl Theater which hosts headline acts and Kaos & Soak nightclub/dayclub. Rio has Penn & Teller and a classic Las Las Vegans revue-style show, a comedy club, the Chippendales and The Duomo, dedicated to band-based music performances.
Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino will host yacht rock band The Docksiders. The band is led by 3-time Grammy nominee Kevin Sucher. Palms will also host a yacht-rock band Yächtley Crëw. Yacht Rock at Palm's will run from November 18-19 to December 29-30 and February 24-25.
