Boyd Gaming has announced that Downtown Las Vegas’ Main Street Station Casino Brewery and Hotel will reopen on 8 September 2021.

The venue has been closed since March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but will return next month, opening 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Main Street Station comprises almost 27,000 square feet of casino floor, as well as hotel accommodation, two restaurants and over 2,500 square feet of meeting and event space.

“We are thrilled to announce the reopening of Main Street Station, and to welcome back our team members and guests who have been eagerly awaiting our return,” said Boyd Gaming Executive Vice President of Operations Steve Thompson.

“We are counting the days until Sept. 8, when Boyd Gaming’s complete trifecta of Downtown Las Vegas properties – California, Fremont and Main Street Station – will once again be fully open and ready to welcome our guests.”

Elsewhere in the brick and mortar sector, Penn National Gaming’s Hollywood Casino York venue is set to open this week in the York Galleria Mall in Springettsbury Township.

Announced by the operator on 12 July, the facility will open on Thursday 12 August at noon.

Also open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Hollywood Casino York is around 80,000 square feet, comprising 500 slot machines and 24 table games, as well as live sports betting and dining.
