A spur-of-the-moment decision to try a new lottery game has landed a Bateau Bay woman a $100,000 prize in the recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The Central Coast resident won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10496, drawn Wednesday 13 October 2021.

So far in 2021, there have been 13 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize winning entries in the Hunter and Central Coast region collectively worth more than $1.6 million.

When an official from The Lott finally got a hold of the winner to confirm the news this morning, she was still recovering from the revelation of her windfall.

“Oh my! Wow! That’s fantastic,” she laughed.

“I found out while I was at work. I noticed I had a few missed calls. It was only when I went onto my emails that I saw I’d won $100,000!

“At first I thought it was a prank. I didn’t think it was real!

“I don’t really purchase entries into Lucky Lotteries. I’m fairly new to the game.

“About two weeks ago, I spontaneously decided to purchase an entry into the game. I’m so glad I did!

“This is wonderful news.”

With $100,000 about to land in her bank account, the elated winner said she knew exactly what she’d do.

“I’m thinking of putting the prize towards house improvements! It will be nice to see some changes,” she shared.

“Otherwise, now that we’re out of lockdown and can finally go out, I’d like to go celebrate!”

Her winning entry of nine random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $4.12 million for draw 1548, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $3.36 million for draw 10497.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, 136 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $46.09 million.

During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by a Coolangatta man who scored a Mega Jackpot prize of $9.41 million in May 2021.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.
