Bacta lends its support to Safer Gambling Week 2022. The event will take place from 17th to 23rd October 2022 and promote safer gambling messages. It is organised by bactA, Betting and Gaming Council, Lotteries Council and Bingo Association. The number of social media impressions for Safersgamblingweek 2021 hit 24.5 million. There was a 16% increase in social impressions on the previous year. Sessions on Saferinggamblingweek.com were 79% up on previous years.
Safer Gambling Week is held every year to promote the industry's year-long commitment to safer gambling. Bacta CEO John White says the week also brings customer focus to the tools available to them if they feel their gambling is becoming problematic.
