Lightning Box, an Australian slot machine supplier, has made its debut in West Virginia in collaboration with its distribution partner, SG Digital.

Lightning Box, an Australian slots provider, will roll out for the first time its top titles in West Virginia, entering the market with its distribution partner SG Digital, the online gaming division of Scientific Games.

Two of its hit titles, Chicken Fox and Lightning Horseman, will become available in the state. The provider went live in the US with its online casino titles in New Jersey via Amaya in 2014 and then launched its slot games with SG Digital in Pennsylvania in November 2020 and Michigan in January 2021. Lightning Box’s content is already popular among American players.

Lightning Box CEO and co-founder Peter Causley said that he was excited that the company met the market requirements of the state’s regulations.

Causley said that Lightning Box’s games are popular not only among American players but also social casino operators, as well. He said he is pleased that operators in West Virginia will now have the chance to enjoy its online products.

With its established operators, West Virginia offers Lightning Box and its distribution partner SG Digital new opportunities. SG Digital partnership director Steve Mayers said that, after the successful launches in other US markets, the company is excited to launch its online offering in West Virginia and bring its immersive experience to its players. The company anticipates the opportunity to strengthen its partnership with Lightning Box.

Lightning Box keeps its momentum on a global scale. Recently, 32Red Casino, a British gaming company, extended its portfolio with Lightning Box’s offering. The integration became possible thanks to Microgaming’s aggregation deal. 33Red players gained access to hot titles like Golden Yak and Lioness4x.

Lightning Box signed its partnership deal with Scientific Games in 2020. Since then, the company has strengthened its presence in the US market.

In March 2021, Lightning Box launched its content in Michigan with TwinSpires, a sportsbook and casino brand by Churchill Downs.

In an interview with gamblingnews.com, Lightning Box co-founder and games director David Little said that the company’s games, like Chicken Fox5x Skillstar and Kalahari Safari, have performed very well lately because they capture players’ imagination along and offer a high-win format.
