Australia set to introduce online gambling self-exclusion register

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has unveiled plans to introduce a new online gambling national self-exclusion register during the second half of this year.

The register will apply to all licensed online and telephone betting operators and will enable Australian gamblers to exclude themselves from participation for periods ranging from three months up to permanent self exclusion.
