Foxwoods Resort Casino on Friday reported slot revenue of $27.1 million for the month of June, slightly less than the $29.4 million it netted a year earlier.

June’s haul results in a $6.7 million direct payment to the state based on the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s slot revenue contribution agreement.

Last month, Foxwoods continued its 30th anniversary celebration with special events and prize giveaways. It also hosted a drag queen event and featured comedians including Nick Swardson, Trevor Noah and Sal Vulcano, along with performances by rappers Busta Rhymes, Lloyd Banks, Juvenile and Mase.

Performances this month include Emmy Award-winning tribute band The Fab Four on Friday, and legendary singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson on July 30. Other shows this month include comedians Bob Marley on July 23 and Chris Tucker on July 29.

To commemorate its 30th anniversary, Foxwoods is making monthly donations of $30,000 to local nonprofit organizations, including Hartford Gay & Lesbian Health Collective, outCT, Rhode Island Pride and New London NAACP.

Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has deposited over $4.5 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue directly into the state’s budget fund, the casino said.
