On the Evolution of the Strip
A lot has changed during the nearly three decades Mildred has been working as a concierge. “I’ve been blessed to experience the evolution of the hospitality industry in Vegas, both on and off the Strip,” she says. From working the laid-back lounges in what is lovingly referred to as “Old Las Vegas” to being part of a five-star resort team, Mildred has done it all. 

Her first five-star resort experience was working on the opening team of the iconic Bellagio Resort and Casino back in 1998. “It was beyond my wildest dreams,” she said. That same year, world-renowned chef Julian Serrano brought his French-Mediterranean cooking to Las Vegas with the opening of Picasso at the Bellagio. According to Mildred, the tasting menu at Picasso offers a once-in-a-lifetime dining luxury experience. “Not only is the decor breathtaking, but enjoying a glass of champagne while taking in the incredible view of the iconic fountain show at Bellagio from the terrace makes this a true standout meal,” she said.
