$89.2 Million In June Revenue As Michigan Internet Gaming Strong Again In June
$89.2 million of gross revenue was generated in June for Michigan internet gaming. The state is still short of the $100 million mark for the third month running. New Jersey and Pennsylvania are the only other states to have achieved that.
June's gross internet casino gaming and online sports betting wagering receipts in Michigan roughly matched May.
BetMGM Casino again leads the way in revenue with $33.8 million. DraftKings Casino was second with $15.5 million of revenue, FanDuel Casino third with 16.6%. FireKeepers Casino launched its casino and sportsbook online properties last week and reported $11,902 in June online casino revenue.
Operators spent $23.0 million on casino promotions this summer. The summer sports slowdown pushed operators to focus more on marketing. Since January, $483.1 million of revenue has been generated in Michigan. It raised $13.7 million in state taxes and $3.3 million for Detroit.
