 The parties in the case of Interactive Media Entertainment and Gaming Association (iMEGA) v. Keisler et al have presented arguments to judge Thomas Wingate in the US Court of Appeals, 3rd Circuit, Kentucky. So now we wait.
 Friday marked round two in a Kentucky courtroom – the US Court of Appeals, 3rd Circuit, in fact – over the lawsuit Interactive Media Entertainment and Gaming Association (iMEGA) v. Keisler et al, but as is so often the cases in legal cases, the wheels of justice ground slowly enough so that the online gambling industry and Kentucky players’ll be waiting for round three on Tuesday.
 The sole comment received upon querying a few LCD partners politely informed that “I cannot submit any comments on the Kentucky situation” because defense attorneys have “strongly advised” against commenting until the case is concluded.

 Nobody saw it coming: not the online casinos, nor the software providers and certainly not the players. In what may someday come to be known among online gamers as Black Friday, September 19th saw Kentucky governor Steve Beshear file a lawsuit in an attempt to cut access to some 141 online casinos and related Web sites to state citizens. After attempting to close off these casinos to Kentuckians, state attorneys are also seeking financial damages for lost revenue.
 The lucky number in Maryland’s pick three state lottery last week? The number of the beast itself: 666. Triple sixes were drawn much to the chagrin of the Maryland State Lottery Agency and despite the group’s description of the number as “thought by many to be unlucky.”
