Microgaming pays out one-quarter billion in five years
The Microgaming Progressive Jackpot network reached a new record level over the weekend, as the company has now shelled out over a quarter of a billion dollars (approximately €158 million / £125.35 million) in the five years of its incorporation.
Today, the Progressive Jackpot network consists of some 21 individual online slots – including Roulette Royale and the seemingly crazy loose Mega Moolah with its recent single $5.5 million payout accounting for a ridiculous 2% of all money paid out since 2003 in Microgaming’s deal – and as of this writing held payouts worth some $6 million (approximately €3.79 million / £3 million).
Aside from latest Microgaming Progressive millionaire Klaus E., he of the $5.5 million Mega Moolah win, 12 others have won a cool mil from the network; some 6,500 have won progressive jackpots in the half-decade.
