The wave of the future started to come to the forefront in 2008, with bonus rounds become evermore complex and involved. No child of the 80s needs future encouragement to play Cosmic Quest other than to explain that spinning three SCATTERs opens the “Asteroid-Blasteroid Round” game-in-game, and the slot disappears for a good old-fashioned shoot ‘em up video game.
