Gamesys

The
Gamesys group was founded in 2001 by a team of eight former Gameplay employees who had been working at the recently defunct Gameplay Wimbledon office. After nine months of development, Jackpotjoy, their flagship soft-gaming product, was launched in 2002, and the annual payout of winning bets now exceeds £75 million, or three winners a second.
Since Jackpotjoy's launch, Gamesys has published over 250 white-labeled versions of the site for partners such as Lycos, Tiscali, Ryanair and Orange. Gamesys was named as the
UK’s fastest-growing private technology company in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 in 2006. In the 2007 listing, Gamesys was ranked at 28. In October 2007, the Gamesys-owned Jackpotjoy.com won the Egaming Review Bingo Operator of the Year award.
The group’s primary soft-gaming brand, Jackpotjoy.com offers both free-to-play and pay-to-play versions of their games, which are browser-based and do not require a download. Gamesys has launched several games based around classic UK TV game shows including The Price Is Right Bingo, Strike It Lucky and Deal Or No Deal. Recently the company has licensed its software to a
Spanish company and is making inroads into the European Market under the Botemania brand.
