Crazy Vegas is billed as an insane combination of all things Vega$, including “Entertainers, Showgirls, Dice, Cards, Roulette, Craps, Chip Stacks, and an Emcee - And the fun is just beginning!” For all the craziness and pomp that comes with the lounge lizards and Elvii populating these reels, Crazy Vegas still offers quite a bit of good fun.
All the characters from the roulette boards to the Presleyians look fantastic, bursts of color and cartoon graphic so appropriate to the milieu. No Steve & Edie-esque music backs up play, merely a game-show soundtrack sounding thing and all wins are chased with the sort of light jazz riff you’d hear on “Match Game PM.”
The good news is that payouts seem to come a lot more often than in the actual Sin City itself, with the thrilling, high-paced, leave-your-watch-at-home feel of Las Vegas well captured. A great game to reminiscence about your last trip to the non-virtual casino, then. LCD rating: 14 (hit when the dealer’s showing 10).
