More commonly known today as Circus Casino Margate, the brick-and-mortar game establishment in Margate certainly may be the only bet in town that has their own poker league which happens every Wednesday and Friday. No restaurant, but they do have snacks. In the poker rounds, you can get the meals at half the price!
Now that's quite fancy. The Circus Casino Margate is open from noon until 5:30am, which is not bad. You don't need a membership to join this club and they offer vouchers when you join the slots club and also get additional vouchers simply based upon how many times you play the slots. What is even more strange is that they don't have a decent website that allows you to see their establishment; not that it's so important but for anyone who would like to scope-out a gaming joint, it helps to see the place.
In terms of games, the Circus Casino has a total of 20 to chose from, ranging from roulette touchbet machines to an assorted variety of blackjack slots. There are no fruit slots in this casino. There are three real roulette tables, five poker tables, two blackjack tables, one 3-card poker table and two casino stud poker tables.
While there is no valet parking, there is free parking and the dress code is smart and casual. Jeans are allowed but it must be somewhat stylish and there is a dress code that doesn't allow track suits or hoodie looking people with baseball caps.
Much is not known about the snack menu but for sure that it also is casual. Much to my dismay, this location may be under-rated but well worth the effort to check out if you happen to be in the area of Margate anytime soon though with so many other choices to chose from, this could be passed-up for a better dressed casino altogether.
