Early last week, part one of LCD's series on the recent court action brought against some 141 online gambling-related websites in Kentucky promised comments from those within the industry on the action.
Well, the Os Man’s old journalism reflexes from the Albuquerque days are a bit rusty, it seems. The sole comment received upon querying a few LCD partners politely informed that “I cannot submit any comments on the Kentucky situation” because defense attorneys have “strongly advised” against commenting until the case is concluded.
Of course; after all, anyone related to the defendant attempting to speak up on a matter directly threatening their livelihood are just waiting to be colored sleazily by Kentucky prosecutors. And people wonder why the Os Man wants to stay off the radar.Next: What “happened” in Friday’s courtside continuation.
