In Microgaming's winter Olympics sports-themed Winter Gold, the graphics are good with a range of different winter events to watch from ski jumping to bobsleigh racing, to a biathlon and speed skating competitions. The design probably took the most effort with a greater attention to detail like snow falling in the background, action-packed video clips, and snowflakes racing around the A-K-Q-J and 10, and bobsleds racing down the tracks. The competition clips are artfully done with beautifully rendered winter terrain. The Bonus Wheel round is triggered with 3, 4 or 5 scatter gold medal symbols. When the wheel appears players will be asked to click the center arrow in order to spin. The arrow will land on one of various sections on the wheel from a collection of rewards from either free spins, to free coins or for players to participate in a specific winter competition. In these competitions, players will get to choose who they want to be, like in the speed skating completion, players get to pick one of the five competitors to win. Each competitor will win players certain bonus points depending on where they place in the race. The Winter Gold logo is the wild and substitutes for all symbols except the scatter.
