Santa Strikes Back, the sequel to the excellent Christmas 2008 game Rudolph's Revenge, is here! Okay, now this is a creative cast of characters in Real Time Gaming’s new Christmas slot, Santa Strikes Back, a 5-reel 25-payliner with strange, contorted depictions of the elves, animals and toys of the North Pole culture at Santa’s workshop. Wacky and filled with black humor, this slot features Santa flailing a sword and Mrs. Claus referring to her venison cookbook in her preparations for dinner. One of the oversized reindeers is gagged and tied up on the reels and looks like a cross between a reindeer and an aardvark with thick, black glasses on. Another image on this slot that evokes both humor and violence is the basket of carrots above the slot that is labeled "Free Carrots" and has been set out in the woods with an elf hiding behind a tree in position with a bow and arrow to shoot the next rabbit who attempts to help itself. Rudolph gets in a full-fledge brawl with Santa and overtakes him by beating him up with a bat and an elf is trapped helplessly, frozen in ice up to his knees.
The letters and numbers are gift wrapped carelessly with creases and tape all over and one gift even has liquid leaking from the bottom that looks toxic and is burning its way through the paper. The main elf on campus has a voodoo-looking Rudolph the Red-nose Reindeer doll with a pin in its nose and is brandishing another needle in his hand. Santa’s Revenge Bonus is triggered with three Rudolphs on the reels and then dash away, dash away all, into the free spins to the tune of "Jingle Bells."
