In pontoon, is much like the standard blackjack with the serious difference being that the dealer gets two cards face down, while the player gets his/hers face up.

After an ace+10 value hand, a.k.a. blackjack, the second highest-value hand is any five-card hand of 21 points or less. Third-high hand would be non-blackjack hand valuing 21. Dealer wins on a "push."

The dealer hits on soft 17 and stands on hard 17 and the player must hit on any hand of less than 15. Pairs may be split, but there is no surrender or insurance.
